Culturally Nourishing Schooling (CNS) works in close partnership with Aboriginal Community Leaders, recognising their cultural authority as central to shaping and guiding the project. Cultural leadership is at the heart of CNS, ensuring that the voices, knowledges, and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families are embedded throughout the work. Our participating schools engage deeply in the CNS model, with school leaders, teachers, our CNS research team and our Cultural Leaders collaborating to co-design and implement our CNS model within their schools.
