The Story of CNS at Condobolin Public School

In 2022, the CNS project expanded to include two schools from Condobolin: Condobolin Public School and Condobolin High School. Participating in the CNS project has been a journey for the school, navigating a change of principal midway through 2023 and allowing staff to attend professional learning days. While challenging, the school upheld its participation in the program, with both principals taking part in 2022 and 2024, respectively. Over three years, 16 teachers engaged in the professional learning, and of these, 11 remain at the school.

The Cultural Mentor who worked with CNS during 2022 and 2023 positively impacted the school’s participation in the program, fostering connections between the school and the community. By working across both the Primary School and High School, the Condobolin Community had a unique opportunity for a strong local voice to represent both schools, providing support and voicing the needs and strengths of the community across a broader scope of their children's education.
